Tomorrow...

Tomorrow the judge will give the jury some final instructions and send them on their way.

What are they thinking right now?

What are you thinking right now?

How long do you think the jury will deliberate?

What if Jean Ann James goes free?

The friends and family of Gladys Wakabayashi - along with MANY other people - have been waiting for this day to come. Patiently.

I guess after holding your breath, questioning the system and/or your God, and stewing with emotions for 19 years... waiting until that jury comes back to court with a verdict could be either that slow-motion moment before the final wound is inflicted or a the deepest breath you ever took before a sigh of relief.

  2. This will be interesting. I hope the jury does not take very long to deliberate. May justice prevail and may one pay for the crimes committed. If she goes to jail at 72 years I doubt she will live to see the outside again. It is hard time in there, life in prison is NOT pretty. One can not imagine the dramatic change she may have to endure from life outside to inside. The magnitude of that change on someone 72 years old that IF she did commit this crime she must already have some unbalance in her personality, it could be a spiral downwards and a short stay. May the jury deliberate and find JUSTICE no matter what the outcome. JUSTICE.
